Our Edmonton, AB location is currently looking for a Labourer to join the team. The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the operation of industrial service equipment as Vacuum Trucks or High Pressure units in a safe and professional manner. 

Please be advised it is mandatory for candidates to hold valid First Aid, H2S Alive, and CSO/CSTS safety certifications prior to starting this position. Proof of certifications will be requested during the recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Operate and maintain vacuum, high pressure and combo units;
  • Assist with staging the equipment;
  • Rig the equipment in and out;
  • Complete field level risk assessments and other related paperwork;
  • Perform general duties required to complete work, such as debris removal, clean-up, set-up, etc.;
  • Work in confined spaces and wear a Supplied Breathing Air Apparatus.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

  • Must hold valid First Aid, H2S Alive and CSO cor CSTS ertificates (will be required to provide proof prior to first day);
  • Ability to travel overnight 2 weeks at a time; 
  • Class 5 driver’s license is required;
  • Previous experience in a labor intensive role is required;
  • Previous high pressure, vacuum and/or combo unit operating experience preferred;
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment;
  • Willing and able to travel.
