The Facility Technician II position based at ourCompany's Aragonite facility performs hands-on operations such as drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations, offloading of van trailers, forklift duties, and completes required paperwork for waste tracking/regulatory purposes. This position is a physically demanding role that works under challenging conditions such as extreme heat or cold year-round. Our locations is just South of Exit 56 on I-80(W) headed toward Wendover. We offer a free Company-provided shuttle service that transports employees to and from the facility from various pickup locations in the surrounding areas, including but not limited to Grantsville, Tooele, and West Valley City. We are searching for reliable and safety-oriented individuals to join our production team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Perform hands-on operations such as drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations and offloading vans
• Perform drum storage, repacks, and use of drum scanner
• Operate a forklift when needed
• Complete required paperwork for waste tracking movement
• Other duties as assigned

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6+ months related work experience
• Ability to work a rotating shift as needed (may include nights and weekends)
• Ability to work in adverse environments (cold/heat)
• Forklift and/or DOT training preferred
