Job Description

The Opportunity:

Clean Harbors is currently seeking a Class A ROLL OFF DRIVER w/Hazmat Endorsement to join our team in Benicia, CA.

Our Class A Truck Drivers perform duties associated with transporting hazardous waste loads from the refinery to disposal and/or incineration sites. You will be working in all types of weather conditions with multiple stops per day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Conducting waste pick up from customer locations utilizing various trucks.
• ROLL OFF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Loading and offloading trucks
• Must be flexible to accommodate customer expectations
• Monday – Friday shift, early morning start
• Occasional weekend work
• 1 or 2 times monthly will work on Sunday to assist with Household Waste Collection events 
• 10- to 12-hour workdays
• Hazmat endorsement required
• Tanker endorsement preferred, or willing to secure within 90 days of hire
• Computer savvy
• Maintaining daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports
• Must have CDL A in place
• Must be able to drive CDL manual transmission 
• Any other duties as assigned by management

• TWIC card required
• Ability to work overnight
• Ability to use a mobile computer / handheld device
