The Opportunity:

The Material Handler will be responsible for general warehouse duties, moving freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles by hand or using drum cart and or forklift or other equipment. We are searching for a hard-working and safety-oriented individual to join our team in Wheeling, WV!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies and processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times
  • Unload containerized waste from the route truck
  • Reload route trucks with supplies and equipment for next day’s runs
  • Stock the warehouse with received materials
  • Prepare waste loads for shipment
  • Housekeeping in the branch (painting, picking up trash, sweeping, cleaning, straightening)
  • Empty and fill drums of solvent mineral spirits
  • Perform minor repairs on parts washers at the warehouse
  • Supervise third party bulk liquid transfers
  • Assist with inventory count at warehouse
  • Other duties as required

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors/Safety-Kleen?

  • HS Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Ability to safely operate Forklift and other warehouse equipment
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
