HPC Industrial Services is currently looking for an Account Payable Analyst to join our team. The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for Creating and analyzing cross functional program reporting for policy compliance; audit and metrics; looking for overlap, misuse and overspend; reporting to management on findings and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Ensures that invoices and expenses are processed accurately and timely;
• Partners with other HPC Industrial Services departmental divisions to ensure the timely payment of invoices and expenses;
• Accountable for providing guidance and training to internal HPC Industrial Services Accounts Payable staff; not limited to vouchering process, filing of invoices, mailing cheques, retuning vendor phone calls and correspondence, and answering status questions from vendors;
• Accountable for reviewing vendor statements and resolving discrepancies to vendor inquiries;
• Ensure the input of key vendor invoices in a timely manner; including but not limited to utilities, lease payments and consolidated corporate accounts;
• Ensures voucher groups are verified in a timely manner;
• Oversees the successful mailing of weekly check runs;
• Supervises the process for cheque requests in accordance with company policy. 

 What does It Take to work for HPC Industrial Services:

•  High School diploma or equivalent required.  Associates Degree preferred;
• Accounts Payable experience required; PeopleSoft experience preferred
• Driven self-starter possessing critical thinking, problem-solving skills along with an appreciation for detail
• Hard working, forward-thinking individual looking to further their career at a company with multiple growth opportunities
• Effective communication and teambuilding skills combined with an ability to manage multiple on-going tasks
