The Opportunity:

Our Tacoma, WA location has an opening for a Facility Coordinator. Our Facility Coordinators are responsible for clerical duties including managing purchase orders, shipments manifests, and ordering supplies.

This is a day shift role with some flexibility on start times depending on what works best for the candidate.

 Key Responsibilities:  

  • Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Creates BOLs for movement of railcars;
  • Creates shipping paperwork for railcars and truck deliveries;
  • Receives railcar and truck deliveries in the electronic system;
  • Manages purchasing and creates purchases orders;
  • Tracks POs and ensures prompt payments for invoicing;
  • Manually inputs training completion into the training tracking system as necessary;
  • Files all hard copies of shipment paperwork in an organized fashion;
  • Creates and submit daily rail switches to the local railroad;
  • Creates daily reports of available and loaded railcars;
  • Manages the check-in process of visiting contractors and vendors;
  • Ensures inventory counts are correct in the online tracking system;
  • Completes and submits all associated paperwork as required for waste tracking movements.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

  • 1+ years of previous clerical experience required;
  • 1+ years of working with purchase orders, shipping manifests preferred;
  • HAZWOPER as asset;
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office required;
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
