The Opportunity:

Clean Harbors is looking for a Marketing Intern to join our team in Norwell, MA. We are looking for an enthusiastic marketing intern to join our marketing department and provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing strategies. Big focus spent on external and internal events, promotional program, employee engagement, rewards and recognition initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting and organizing internal and external events (industry conferences, sales meetings, charitable events, etc.)
  • Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
  • Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web)
  • Help distribute marketing materials
  • Creation of marketing collateral – including posters, flyers and other support as needed
  • Support of company’s promotional item program

Possible additional responsibilities:

  • Support professional videos and photo shoots
  • Coverage of NASCAR and other motorsport events and opportunity to visit other sites in New England

Education & Requirements:

  • Pending Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, management, or a related field.
  • Good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Thinking creatively – developing, designing, or creating new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, or products, including artistic contributions.
  • Ability to take initiative and work under little supervision.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
