The Opportunity:

HydroChemPSC is looking for a Spill Desk Administrator to join their safety conscious team in Colton, CA! The Spill Desk Administrators main responsibility is to logistically multi-task; specifically as it relates to coordinating the dispatch of environmental crews to support clean-up efforts in order to restore power to customers. This person will have direct communication with the client as well as Field Environmental Specialists, and operational teams to ensure a timely response to the emergency call is executed.

Essential duties:

  • Completes job duties in accordance with client requirements and Company policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Receives incoming job requests from clients and end customers.
  • Obtains necessary information to organize servicing of the job to meet or exceed expectations; both conveyed and unspoken.
  • Utilizes customer dashboards and systems to help prioritize emergency crew workloads
  • Helps determine the type and quantities of material and equipment needed from appropriate resources.
  • Effectively organizes, on short notice, frequent changes in service jobs pending or in progress.
  • Communicates regularly with the client to ensure job priorities are clear, job quality is acceptable and to resolve any conflicts concerning personnel/equipment resources available.  Immediately notifies the PSC Operations Management of any problems or concerns.
  • Interacts with other vendors as necessary or directed.
  • Actively participates in safety meetings.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Educational requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience

Skills and experience:

  • 3 or more years of Admin or Dispatching experience.
  • Must be extremely organized, detailed oriented, and have strong customer relations skills.
  • Must have ability to multitask and work independently to meet deadlines.
  • Computer background working with Windows, Microsoft Excel, Word and Office a must
