The Opportunity:

NEW HIGHER WAGE! Our landfill facility located near Last Chance, CO is currently seeking a Facility Receiving Technician (Landfill Drum Dock Technician) to perform hands on operations such as drum sampling, drum shredding and offloading vans as well as completing paperwork for waste tracking movement. 

Please note this position is at our remote location, a Landfill Facility near Last Chance, CO (9 miles west). Wage is DOE $20+DOE.

This position includes a company provided shuttle from Denver and the Fort Morgan area to the Deer Trail facility both ways each work day.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all time;
• Performs hands on operations such as drum pumping, drum dumping, and offloading vans;
• Performs drum storage, drum repacks and use of drum scanner;
• Operate a forklift when needed;
• Completes paperwork for waste tracking movement;
• Performs routine site maintenance operations;
• Opportunities to learn landfill heavy equipment operations.

Qualifications:   

• 6+ months experience in an Industrial or Construction Laborer role preferred;
• Forklift experience desirable;
• Heavy equipment or farm equipment experience desirable;
• Ability to work in adverse environments (cold/heat);
• Safety oriented mindset with the determination to follow all procedures and policies;
• Valid Driver’s License required.
