The Mobile Vehicle Mechanic will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our company fleet, including both heavy and light duty vehicles’ drive lines, transmissions, suspensions, clutches, air brakes, and any other necessary maintenance. We are searching for a mechanically-inclined and safety-minded individual to join our team in Kimball, NE!

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks and inspection on company vehicles
• Diagnose and troubleshoot failures of vehicles and disassemble, repair and reassemble parts as necessary
• Safely operate gauges, forklifts, shunt truck, torches, grinders, and various hand and power tools
• Other duties as assigned

What Does it Take to Work for Clean Harbors?

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• 3 years’ experience performing vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Excellent working knowledge of diesel engines and transmissions
• Diagnostic and mechanical knowledge of gas and diesel repair
• Ability to use a computer
