Environmental Technician/Laborer

HydroChemPSC is looking for an Environmental Technician II (Environmental Tech/Laborer/Equipment Operator) to join their safety conscious team! The Environmental Technician is responsible for the safe and proper execution of HydroChemPSC jobs across all services lines.

Essential Duties:

• Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5! Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Responsible for safety policies and procedures of both the company and the customer, including hands-on information regarding operations, safety, equipment, emergency response and administrative functions.
• Hands-on operation of manual and automated hydro blasting equipment.
• Operation of special equipment, such as Ultra High-Pressure pumps.
• Operate equipment by energizing the pumping equipment and/or any specialized Hydro blasting and/or chemical cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks and cutting equipment being used on the job.
• May be required to examine surface cleaned to ensure conformance to company and customer expectations.
• Perform routine maintenance on company equipment being used on the job.
• Additional duties as assigned.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors/HydroChemPSC?

• Valid Driver’s license required
•  High school diploma / GED or equivalent experience.
• Due to the emergency response and operational nature of the position, it will require some on-call availability that will rotate
• Available for overnight travel about 30% of the time - we will pay for hotel and give per diem for meals.
• Occasional weekends/nights
