The Opportunity

As a Waste Collections Clerk you will be responsible for supporting the Coordinators with logistical and administrative duties associated with reviewing driver logs, data entry, filing and other paperwork as needed. This position is fast-tracked for growth within this facility!

Key Responsibilities: 

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Creating manifests, Land Disposal Restrictions (LDR’s), profiles, invoices and other paperwork associated with Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Programs;
• Assisting with scheduling, maintaining log books and trip/dispatch paperwork;
• Assisting with the handling of driver logs, filing and scanning jobs into the system;
• Communicating with customers in a courteous and professional manner;
• Managing a book of customers, including sales order creation, scheduling and invoicing;
• Serving as back-up coordinator/dispatcher;
• Performing other administrative tasks as required. 

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors? 

• 40 Hour HAZWOPER preferred;
• 1+ years administrative experience;
• 1+ years logistics and/or dispatching experience;
• Strong computer skills;
• DOT knowledge/training an asset;
• Hazmat materials knowledge an asset.
