The Plant Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs at the Company’s water treatment facility. We are searching for a mechanically inclined individual who can work under limited supervision to join our team in Bristol, CT!

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Perform maintenance activities including, but not limited to, pump rebuilds, preventative maintenance, PLC diagnostics, basic installations of pipe, and electric work
• Perform basic repairs and up-keep in the Welding, Electrical, Pipe fitting, and Mechanical disciplines
• Assisting in machine re-building and overhaul-includes dismantling, inspections, and/or replacement of components
• Diagnose machine malfunctioning and operating difficulties
• Making adjustments to water treatment systems
• Assist in installation of new equipment as well as relocation of equipment (i.e. dismantling, erection, leveling, fitting and aligning)

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience
