Clean Harbors Fort McMurray, AB is looking for an Industrial Services Project Manager to join their safety conscious team! You will be responsible for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution of large-scale projects.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Plans operations to optimize facility efficiency, operation work force utilization, materials, supplies, equipment, and tools, including tracking productivity for labor and material costs;
  • Analyzes and controls operational expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements;
  • Ensure that the quality of work meets or exceeds established company guidelines;
  • Makes job assignments and provides guidance and supervision to all employees assigned to the project;
  • Provides input and feedback to branch management on bids before submission to the client; machinery, equipment and work areas clean, safe and well maintained.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

  • Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification required;
  • 5+ years’ experience in industrial field service operations;
  • 5+ years’ supervisor experience preferred;
  • Strong computer literacy including ability to create pivot tables, charts, utilize Microsoft Projects and P6 programming;
  • Ability to understand issues and resolve/address strategically;
  • Understanding of Corporate Safety & Compliance Policies.
