The Opportunity:

Clean Harbors is looking for a Director of End User Services to join their safety conscious team! The responsibility of the Director of End User Services focuses on delivering high quality end user interactions, implementation of new services, and change/release management. This role must drive positive end user experiences and become a trusted advisor leading individual contributors and managers in responding to the changing information technology environment.

Responsibilities include providing and maintaining excellent end user technology offerings and IT leadership supporting all Clean Harbors business customers. Lead Technology Infrastructure team’s in the planning, creation, implementation, and support of all end user facing infrastructure technologies that support the digitization of the Clean Harbors workforce. This includes considering the future business direction of Clean Harbors to identify and evaluate the information technology needs of customer departments. The Director of End User Services must possess the ability to create and participate in cross-functional infrastructure groups made up of technology product owners and end users to ensure rich collaboration in technology evaluation and adoption efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times;
    • Develop and execute strategic roadmap for End User Services that ensures business and technology roadmaps align;
    • Consistently seek, track, and advocate for the ‘User Voice’;
    • Direct relationships with key business partners across Clean Harbors including Business Champion network to ensure pain points and opportunities are evangelized;
    • Measure and demonstrate engagement and adoption with the use of compelling dashboards, intranet news, and communications;
    • Manage enterprise initiatives, such as the implementation of VDI for business resiliency and refreshes of Microsoft O365 tools;
    • Accountable for 7x24 Operational Management of Enterprise Desktop Operations to support all domestic and international offices;
    • Develop consistent measurement of End User Services to meet business service level requirements;
    • Responsible for guiding subordinate leaders in talent identification, development, and onboarding processes to support current and future Technology Infrastructure associates;
    • Manage Infrastructure Change Management Processes, including review and approval, to ensure adherence to documented service level agreements and minimize impact to customer;
    • Manage critical incidents including service acknowledgement and postmortem process improvements;
    • Participation in business continuity and disaster recovery programs to ensure high availability of systems and critical software / services;
    • Direct oversight and negotiation of vendor support contracts with an eye towards operational saving year over year, balanced with service enhancements;
    • Lead project management for desktop support projects including executive status reporting;
    • Responsible for monitoring support, ticket queue and providing metrics, reports, and problem, trending and root cause analysis.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

    • Bachelor of Science in Communications Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering is desired;
    • 7-10 years of relevant experience required;
    • Project Management experience preferred;
    • Passionate about providing a high level of service to customers;
    • Strong communicaton skills;
    • Detail oriented.
