Home daily, 1st shift, Monday - Friday
 
Paid Hourly, Overtime after 40 hrs.

 
Safety-Kleen Cape Girardeau, MO is looking for a Route Driver Trainee to join their safety conscious team! Our Route Driver Trainees are responsible for completing facility inspections, labeling containers, and assisting in loading and unloading trucks. You will train with a route driver until you are certified to operate solo.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Switch out 15- & 30-gallon drums of solutions at customer locations;
  • Service parts washer machinery at customer locations;
  • Load and unload truck using a drum dolly at customer locations;
  • Clean out sediment from sinks;
  • Up-sell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field.

 

What does it take to work for Safety-Kleen? 

  • 1+ year relevant work experience (physical labor);
  • Ability and willingness to obtain and retain a Class B CDL upon hire (company paid training);
  • Clean 3-year MVR is required;
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision at times;
  • Forklift driving skills an asset.
