Clean Harbors Provost, AB is currently looking for a Dispatcher to join their safety conscious team! Our Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating incoming customer requests with the appropriate equipment and personnel in a smooth and efficient manner. This involves establishing and maintaining good communication lines between all parties to ensure excellent customer service, as well as a strong background in computer based programs. Candidates must be willing and available for on-call work during the evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Fosters and contributes to a safe work environment;
  • Takes all phone calls for job requests in a professional and courteous manner;
  • Delegates job requests to qualified operator and assigns laborers if required - includes ensuring that all tools, fittings and hoses needed for the job are communicated to the operators;
  • Arranges for maintenance and repair work;
  • Maintains hours of service on all equipment operators;
  • Ensures pricing and billing is correct.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

  • Previous dispatching experience preferred;
  • Strong background based in production services/oilfield related experience an asset;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other related programs;
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment;
  • Proven commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
