Safety-Kleen Oil Norwell, MA is looking for a VP Line of Business BPS - Antifreeze to join their safety conscious team! This role will drive significant long-term business growth by developing appropriate strategies to achieve aggressive growth.

The VP Line of Business BPS - Antifreeze is responsible for developing, executing, and supporting strategies that result in target growth in revenue and profitability while enhancing brand equity and shareholder value.

This individual needs to have the skill set to develop these strategies through internal and external research utilizing various means to extract expertise and market opinion (i.e. leveraging internal expertise, internal and external surveys, working with analytics, visiting customers, attending trade shows etc.). They will need to communicate and promote these strategies to senior leadership and be able to effectively manage the implementation and adoption as well as provide comprehensive updates and analytics regarding the performance to plan.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Develop short- and long-range business plans for product line consistent with existing market needs and corporate strategic plans;
  • Determine the total market and available market for the product line, for preparing the product line, for preparing the product demand forecast based on the market forecast and for meeting in-going   revenues and/or share objective;
  • Product promotion and product introduction including sales training. Also responsible for product promotion plan including trade shows, product literature plan, product training plan and product distribution plan to achieve approved objectives;
  • Responsible for coordination with sales and branch service along with other groups as appropriate to implement approved plans;
  • Determine product pricing and recommend pricing policies based on established gross margin objectives and preparation of plans for margin improvement where necessary;
  • Prepare competitive analysis and formulation of competitive counter strategies for all new and existing products;
  • Establish, execute, and report on product line growth initiatives;
  • Other duties as Assigned.

What does it take to work for Safety-Kleen?

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred;
  • 5-7+ years’ experience in category management;
  • Door-to-door and/or retail experience preferred;                 
  • Strong customer relationship management skills and ability to collaborate effectively with various functional groups and business units;              
  • Good communications skills, influence capabilities, and an ability to work within a team environment to achieve overall objectives.
