The HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting HVAC systems ranging in size from 3 tons to multi-staged 100-ton systems. We are searching for a reliable individual with an excellent committment to safety to join our team at the Company's Deer Park incineration facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times
  • Disassemble/Reassemble HVAC equipment for replacement or repair
  • Retrofit and change units out as needed
  • Determine cause of malfunctioning HVAC systems and repair or replace defective component(s)
  • Purchase parts and refrigerant
  • Other duties as assigned

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

  • High School diploma (or equivalent)
  • 5+ years experience in commercial or industrial HVAC repair
  • Must possess Universal EPA Certification, AND A MASTERS LICENSE preferred
  • Must have a State-registered HVAC license
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must be able to troubleshoot
