The Senior Account Manager  focuses on building business within their territories as well as developing and maintaining strong customer relationships. While working in conjunction with route drivers, the Senior Account Manager provides product insight to our clientele regarding essential lines of business.

**Previous Environmental Sales Experience is PLUS and Preferred***

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Obtain a minimum yearly goal in New Business Accounts; Meet quarterly and annual revenue objectives; Meet or exceed the threshold for the established minimum number of sales calls per week, maintain company and contact information, and document all sales calls, customer visits, and business opportunities in Beacon;
  • Identify and develop relationships with customer’s key stakeholders in environmental, purchasing, and remediation departments;
  • Utilize Salesforce to maintain and track customer information;
  • Complete annual Sales Revenue Budget and Drive revenue within assigned accounts by cross selling Clean Harbors services;
  • Assist in the collection of invoiced revenue from Customers;
  • Demonstrate ability to negotiate pricing and contract requirements; During Customer sales calls, determine adequacy of present level of service and recommend adjustments;
  • Prospecting new business;
  • Upsell current customers and build territory;
  • Grow current customer base with new lines of business;
  • Prepare and deliver customer quotes;
  • Prospect and convert leads into customers;
  • Achieve monthly sales quotas/budgets.

  

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

  • 3-5 years environmental sales experience preferred;
  • Bachelor degree required;
  • Exceptional computer skills;
  • Tenacious, assertive, strong organizational skills and a hunter mentality. Proven ability to develop a book of business;
  • Working knowledge and current use of CRM. Salesforce.com is a plus;
