Clean Harbors is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their safety conscious team! This position is responsible for: providing technical support to customers, scheduling waste pickups and disposal shipments to internal and third party facilities, ensuring waste is classified correctly in accordance to company policy and assisting in preparation of required paperwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Develop and build key client relations in assigned geographic areas;
  • Provide insight and expertise to develop process improvements opportunities;
  • Work closely with both Sales and Operations to ensure client requirements are being met;
  • Creating orders and coordinating with logistics and receiving facilities;
  • Support field work with system requirments and adjustments;
  • Order review/billing review; PO management
  • Correspondence with third party Blend and Packaging sites on oil need;
  • Creating inventory orders coordinating with Transportation & Receiving Departments of applicable sites;
  • Scanning and filing as needed; 
  • Emailing invoices as needed;
  • Other Duties as needed.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

  • 1-3 years of experience of customer service experience;
  • High school diploma required;
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced Customer Service environment preferred;
  • Environmental or science background required
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook;
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
