The Opportunity

The Industrial Labor Technician performs a variety of hands-on operations including drum pumping/dumping, offloading tankers, unloading vans, as well as general forklift duties within the facility’s industrial warehouse in Dugway, UT.

This is a physically demanding job requiring industrial labor under potentially adverse/challenging conditions (such as extreme heat or cold).  We are searching for reliable and safety-oriented individuals to join our Aragonite team. 

**Company-provided shuttle from the surrounding areas: Magna, Salt Lake City, Tooele, and Grantsville**

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
  • Rotating shift:  4 days on / 4 days off
  • Shift includes evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Paid holidays
  • Paid overtime at time and one half after 40 hours in the work week
  • Will work mainly indoors and outdoors on occasion
  • Forklift experience required
  • Complete required paperwork for waste tracking
  • Wearing of proper personal protective equipment for extended periods of time
  • Will be fitted for full-face respirator and hazmat/Tyvek suit
  • Other duties as assigned

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6+ months of related work experience
  • Ability to work a rotating shift as needed (including nights and weekends)
  • Ability to work in adverse environments (extreme cold and heat)
  • Forklift experience preferred
