Safety-Kleen is seeking a Sales Representative – Bulk Product Services (known internally as Sales Representative) will grow, generate, and maintain revenues and numbers for our customers within an assigned territory. They will need to maintain strong business relationships with existing customer base, and to add new customers. Sales reps perform a variety of administrative tasks, including, but not limited to; waste profiling, setting up products services in the system, and generating work orders for service. Position may require travel away from home up to 30% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
  • Proactively drive new and profitable business through cold calling, networking, internal leads, existing customers and other traditional methods.
  • Prepare sales plans and forecasts; monitor and track plans to ensure sales quota is met or exceeded.
  • Develop and propose customer solutions utilizing Safety-Kleen’s vast product and service offerings.
  • Maintain database and plan utilizing our CRM tool while providing accurate sales reporting.
  • Keep abreast of products, market conditions and competitive activities, as well as maintaining up to date understanding of industry trends that affect target markets.
  • Share strong business intelligence with appropriate Safety-Kleen professionals to further support our market dominance in years to come.
  • Ensure all sales actions comply with all regulations and Safety-Kleen policies and processes.
  • Act as the lubricant and coolant subject matter expert providing technical guidance to customers and new opportunities

What does it take to work for Safety-Kleen?

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred;
  • 7+ years business to business (B2B) sales experience, preferably in the industrial, commercial automotive or environmental services market; or 4+ years as a Safety-Kleen Sales and Service Representative.
  • Daily travel is required.
  • Valid Driver’s License required;
  • Required attendance at a continuous two week long on-boarding and regulatory training course that will be held out of town.
  • Strong time management, organizational and prioritization skills to ensure focus on value-added sales activities. Ability to respond to rapidly changing conditions.
  • Strong Customer orientation; prompt issue resolution/follow-through
  • Computer skills (Salesforce, Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
