The HHW Clerk is responsible for the creating manifests, LDR’s, profiles and other paperwork associated with HHW programs, including maintaining necessary spreadsheets, and setting up and disassembling tables, signs, etc. at Household Hazardous Waste collection jobs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Safe off-loading of household hazardous waste from vehicles at Household Hazardous Waste collection jobs.
• Responsible creating manifests, LDR’s, profiles, invoices and other paperwork associated with HHW Programs.
• Responsible for maintaining customer and CHES spreadsheets.
• Responsible for the safe off-loading of household hazardous waste from vehicles at Household Hazardous Waste collection jobs.
• Responsible for setting up and disassembling of HHW events, which includes setting up and arranging tables, signs, drums and equipment.
• Load trucks at end of collection event.
• Communicate with customers in a courteous and professional manner.

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE:
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years or older
• Hazardous Communication training
• Reliable

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Requires near vision acuity, speaking and listening.
• Requires sitting, standing, walking, grasping and reaching.
• Requires lifting up to 10lbs, pulling and/or pushing and carrying.
• Ability to lift < 50 lbs. without a partner.

Employment is contingent upon a successful background check and drug screen. Some positions also require a pre-hire medical exam. Must meet all work eligibility requirements. Environmentally-responsible business.
