The Lead Material Handler will be responsible for performing general warehouse operations, including but not limited to loading and unloading of trucks, preparing waste shipments and keeping the warehouse organized.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload containerized waste from route trucks in the evening and reconcile waste.
  • Reload route trucks with supplies and equipment for next day’s runs.
  • Stock warehouse with materials after Distribution Center truck arrival.
  • Prepare waste loads for shipment to Recycle Center/Distribution Center.
  • Assist with inventory count at warehouse; manage inventory order and receiving process.

  What does it take to work for Safety-Kleen?

  • 2+ years of work related experience required
  • Ability to work on a PC
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Forklift driving skills preferred
  • Pride in position – owns the warehouse and recognized the importance of this role
