The Opportunity

Our Norwell office is currently seeking a Supply Chain Planning Analyst.  In this job you will be responsible for ensuring that the supply chain and distribution materials and production schedules run smoothly and capacity is optimized. As this role integrates information from across all plant functions, you will be leveraging your informal influencing skills along with your detail-orientation and your planning and organizational skills to ensure that supply, capacity, demand and forecasts are in alignment.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Generate daily MRP reports and analyze/replenish raw materials to support Manufacturing production plans and inventory strategy
  • Develop and maintain a daily, weekly and monthly supply plan for all product lines that is aligned with customer demand, inventory targets and available capacity of the warehouse.
  • Balance inventory levels with demand to support targets consistent with customer service levels, inventory turn targets, capacity utilization requirements and budgetary constraints.
  • Track and monitor inventory by product and time horizon at various levels of detail.
  • Monitors supplier performance prepares reports/other records pertaining to items or services purchased.
  • Maintain the materials planning for 1 or more facilities.

 

What does it take to work for Safety-Kleen?

  • 5+ years of related experience in production scheduling and inventory management required
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • APICS certification Strongly preferred
  • Experience with MRP, Finite Scheduling, and/or JDA tools required.
  • Microsoft Excel Proficiency is Required
