The Opportunity

 

Safety-Kleen New Berlin, WI  is looking for a Welder to join their safety conscious team! This position is primarily responsible for painting and doing spot welding or resistance welding.

1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 6 AM to 2 PM, some overtime after 2 PM

Key Responsibilities: 
 

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Welding materials together using GMAW (gas metal arc welding);
  • Cutting processes (mechanical and power tools, oxy-fuel plasma arc, air carbon arc, electric arc);
  • Cleaning and checking for defects and shape component parts;
  • Performing quality control;
  • Following directions given in drawings, blue prints and work orders;
  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.

 

What does it take to work for Safety-Kleen? 

  • 1+ years spot and/or resistance welding experience preferred;
  • Robotic Welding experience preferred;
  • Forklift experience an asset;
  • Ability to read blueprints;
  • Good communication skills both written and spoken;
  • Good organizational skills.
