Clean Harbors in Norwell, MA is looking for a Commercial Propert Maintenance Technician to join their safety conscious team! The Maintenance Technician is physically responsible to manage contractors and vendors servicing Corporate Headquarters in Norwell, MA. Including overseeing the functioning of all building systems such as electrical, mechanical, HVAC, elevators, landscaping/snow removal, building security, and janitorial. Assist in developing energy conservation programs, cost savings and alternatives in building management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Assist the Property Manager with building systems such as electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire/life safety, elevators, landscaping/snow removal, building security, and janitorial
  • Physically able to troubleshoot and fix mechanical items daily
  • Focus on energy efficiency, indoor air quality, building cleanliness and aesthetics
  • Provide 24/7 emergency response service.
  • Ability to work productively with Employees and Vendors

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Trade knowledge of construction, maintenance, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and other building systems required
  • Valid MA Driver’s License is required;
  • Trade certifications are an asset;
  • Ability to maintain confidences, Ability to take after hour emergency calls
