The Opportunity

The Process Operator is responsible for performing hands-on, safety-sensitive, and industrial operations associated with the plant’s distillation, filtration, and blending processes. We are looking for safety-oriented and reliable individuals who do not mind physically demanding work to join our team in Hebron, OH! 3rd shift 6p-6a

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
  • Offloads inbound tankers and monitors the equipment that does the general distillation
  • Completes daily checklist and hourly reading as required for proper operation of the Distillation units
  • Ensures the unit has daily maintenance duties performed and communicates any problems or issues with the Distillation units immediately upon discovery
  • Ensures the Distillation units are never operated in an unsafe manner or in a manner which is not consistent with Standard Operating Procedures
  • Ensure that the processing unit is operating according to the issued guidelines and process specifications
  • Performs all required QA/QC related to the distillation process
  • Reviews and maintains up to date knowledge of applicable SOP’s
  • Completes all paperwork associated with waste tracking
  • Ensures that work meets all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous industrial or manufacturing experience (Preferred)
  • Forklift experience (Preferred)
  • Ability to work off-shift hours
  • Accountability and punctuality
