Responsibilities

1st shift, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm.  Overtime available after 40 hrs. (time and 1/2)  
Typically overtime is provided toward the end of the shift expanding later than 2:00 pm
Experience within a Manufacturing environment an asset 


The Opportunity

 

 

Safety-Kleen New Berlin, WI is looking for an Assembler (Reconditioner) to join their safety conscious team! The Assembler (Reconditioner) is responsible for assembling and reconditioning parts-washers, pumps, and lamps using various hand tools. This is an entry level position that requires minimal mechanical knowledge and ability to work well with little supervision.

Key Responsibilities:  
  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Operates manual and electric/air powered hand tools;
  • Dismantles and assembles various equipment such as: pumps, parts-washers, lamps etc.;
  • Keeps an organized and clean work environment;
  • Performs other duties as required by management.

 

What does it take to work for Safety-Kleen? 

  • Previous experience in a factory/assembly environment is an asset.
  • Previous knowledge and experience with hand tools (drills, hammers etc.)/mechanical skills is an asset.
  • Ability to work well with minimal supervision.
  • Safety oriented mindset with the determination to follow all procedures and policies.
  • High School diploma or equivalency.
