The Opportunity

Clean Harbors Long Harbour, NL is looking for an InSite Coordinator/Dispatcher to join their safety conscious team at the Vale Plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for employee coordination, including drug and alcohol scheduling, onboarding and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Scheduling all drug and alcohol screens for new hires;
  • Arranging and determining necessary training for employees;
  • Assisting with onboarding of all shutdown/turnaround hires;
  • Tracking employee information and entering into company database as needed.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

  • Minimum of 2-years related administrative experience;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task;
  • Previous dispatching experience required; 
  • Ability to meet varied deadlines;
  • Competent in the us of MS Office Suite;
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License required;
  • Flexibility to work various hours depending on business needs.
