Safety-Kleen Oshawa, ON is looking for a Customer service/Route Service Manager to join their safety conscious team! This position will work in a fast-paced environment and will bring a high quality of service to customers. Ideal candidates understand what it takes to motivate and direct a staff. They understand that proper motivation involves training, development and setting goals. These individuals know that the key to success is making the customer top priority.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Train, develop and manage Sales and Service Representatives;
  • Manage flow of service requests to ensure customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner;
  • Conduct end-of-day check-in / morning check-out process with Service Representatives to ensure daily expectations are met and employees are prepared for the day;
  • Fulfill duties of Service Representatives as business demands require;
  • Provide field coaching and Driver training to Drivers;
  • Work to prevent and resolve Route Sales issues and complaints;

What does it take to work for Safety-Kleen?

  • Route Sales/Service background;
  • Previous logistics experience;
  • Knowledge of local regulation regarding commercial transportation;
  • Previous leadership/supervisory experience required;
  • Environmental background is an asset;
  • Strong customer service driven background;
  • Ability to obtain Class A CDL upon hire (paid CDL training provided);
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and related programs.
