The Opportunity

Our Ponca City, OK team is currently looking for Industrial Services Drivers (Class A & B) to be based out of Ponca City, OK. As a Industrial Services Driver you will be responsible for performing duties associated with work at local refineries, chemical plants, power plants, and support other industrial customers. Industrial Services Drivers will drive an average of 30% of the time and work onsite as part of the team assisting in the operations the remainder of the time. Depending on location, drivers may be asked to perform the duties of a field technician if business needs warrant it.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner always;
  • Performs industrial tank cleaning, utility work, facility shutdowns, site remediation;
  • Driving and operating equipment including but not limited to Hydro Blasting truck units;
  • Rigging equipment in and out, following all safety procedures;
  • Project based work may require out of town travel on occasion;
  • Maintain daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

  • 1+ years’ Hydro Blasting experience strongly preferred;
  • Class B CDL strongly preferred with a clean 3-year Motor Vehicle Record;
  • Possess a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC), or ability to obtain upon hire;
  • Willingness to obtain OSHA (40 hour) Certification;
  • Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather conditions;
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, with the occasion for overnight travel as business needs arise;
  • Ability and willingness to work in a physically intensive role.
