The Opportunity

Our Oklahoma City, OK branch is currently seeking Entry Level Environmental Field Laborers, who will be responsible for the performance of tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination, tank cleaning, high pressure water blasting, emergency response clean-up, Covid-19 onsite decontamination and the handling of hazardous materials. This job requires long hours, working outside, at client location, and being on a rotation for on call during the week for emergency response.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all time;
• Performs non-emergency and emergency response activities dealing with hazardous materials;
• Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout the shift;
• Works in atmospheres with low clearances, confined spaces and at heights;
• Operates light and heavy equipment including skid steers, forklifts, pressure washer.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

• 6 months construction, general labor/physically intensive experience;
• Valid Driver’s License, Clean 3 year MVR required;
• Safety oriented mindset with the determination to follow all procedures and policies;
• Ability to travel overnight up to 25% and work on an on-call basis when needed;
• Ability and willingness to work in a physically intensive role;
• Ability to work Night or Overnight shift
• TWIC card preferred.
• Must be able to work weekends
