The Opportunity  

Our Sherwood Park, AB location is currently looking for a Vac Truck Laborer to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with industrial service equipment in a safe, professional and customer service focused fashion.

Please be advised it is mandatory for candidates to hold valid First Aid, H2S Alive, and CSO or CSTS safety certifications prior to starting this position. Proof of certifications will be requested during the recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Swamping on a Vacuum Truck; 
  • Tank cleaning - confined space entry;
  • High pressure washing of equipment;
  • Completing all required paperwork;
  • General housekeeping of wash bay.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors? 

  • Must hold valid First Aid, H2S Alive and CSO or CSTS certificates (will be required to provide proof prior to first day);
  • Class 5 license is required - this position will require driving a company vehicle;
  • 2-3 years of previous laborer experience in oilfield or construction industry;
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment;
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended periods of time;
  • Ability to lift 50lbs regularly throughout the day;
  • Valid safety tickets preferred (i.e.: Confined Space).
