The Opportunity

Safety-Kleen in Brampton, ON is looking for a Branch Administrator to join their safety conscious team! In this fast paced and dynamic position, you will assist with the processing of documentation, coordinate services in collaboration with the Service Department, respond to internal and external inquiries and provide support to the field staff. The primary keeper of documentation for the branch, you will enter and   retrieve data using a variety of software programs. This includes shipping and labelling, environmental regulatory compliance, service schedules, financial and customer files.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Create proper shipping and billing documents daily, including bills of lading and waste manifests;
  • Data entry, processing and retrieval in support of all business functions;
  • Produce detailed reports;
  • Contact customers and intercompany staff to assist in the efficient operation of the business;
  • Respond to customer inquiries and/or complaints and collaborate with various support departments (service, accounting, compliance).

What does it take to work for Safety-Kleen?

  • High school diploma or higher level of education; 
  • 1-3+ years of related work experience;
  • Strong computer software skills including Microsoft Office;
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills;
  • Professional customer service attitude;
  • Detail oriented;
  • Positive, reliable and a team player attitude; 
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
