The Opportunity

Clean Harbors is looking for a Branch General Manager- Environmental Remediation to join their safety conscious team! The Branch General Manager is responsible for managing an office that supports projects nationwide to include but not limited to: environmental remediation, mobile water treatment, carbon filtration and vapor control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Direct responsibility for an assigned service center which includes full P&L responsibility;
  • Plans and coordinates with sales, staff, purchasing, logistic, finance to ensure projects meet cost and customer expectations;
  • Manages labor to meet utilization objective and focuses on labor relations, OSHA, worker’s compensation regulations/laws and maintains accurate tracking of labor costs an materials, identifies and reduces waste (e.g. material, time, equipment, etc.);
  • Formulates, develops, implements and measures market strategies, penetration and business goals and objectives Works with the Regional Finance Manager to achieve billed and unbilled revenue objectives;
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
  • Bachelors’ degree in Engineering or related field is preferred;
  • 10+ years of experience in environmental, remediation or site construction;
  • CAD Knowledge, Cost estimating and computer experience;
  • Strong knowledge of RCRA and DOT regulations;
  • Proficient in Windows based activities.
