Summer 2021 Internship Opportunity – Environmental Field Intern

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Load, pack and segregate materials and waste products;
• Prepare shipping documents;
• Assist with projects/jobs according to site specific Federal, State and local regulations and health and safety plans as well as Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Inc., policies and procedures;
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

• Available for the full duration of the internship program during the summer of 2021;
• Current Sophomore or Junior enrolled in a 4-year degree program (Science field (Geology, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science), Environmental or Civil Engineering;
• Proven leadership experience, team collaboration and strong communication skills;
• The confidence and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.
