The Opportunity 

Clean Harbors Baltimore is looking for a Processing Operator to join their safety conscious team! This is a 2nd shift position; hours are Monday through Friday from 3pm to 11pm.  However, must be available initially between 8am and 4pm for training.

As a Wastewater CO2 System Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring and operating our one of a kind, high pressure CO2 extracting system (CES) in association with our wastewater treatment operations.  Additionally, duties will include sampling wastewater trucks, pumping wastewater from tanks, and treating tanks. This is a labor-intensive role, often working outside in all types of weather.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes and acting in a safe manner always
• Operates the unit with direction from the laboratory with details outlining tank parameters, extraction efficiencies and waste matrix
• Ensures unit has daily maintenance duties performed and communicates any problems or issues with the unit immediately upon discovery
• Performs chemical sampling on wastewater trucks
• Pump and treat wastewater in tanks and trucks
