The Opportunity
 
Our Sparks, NV location has an opening for a Field Technician (internally known as Environmental Technician I). Our Field Technicians are responsible for drum movement, drum opening, as well as forklift operation. Candidates must be flexible to work days, nights and the occasional weekends.

 Key Responsibilities:  

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Performs basic operations including, but not limited to, drum movement in compliance with DOT segregation requirements, assist Clean Pack Chemist with proper packing and labeling of products, and proper inventory warehousing;
• Operates a forklift and performs warehousing duties;
• Completes and submits all associated paperwork as required for waste tracking movements.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

• 1+ years of hazardous material handling experience;
• Previous forklift and warehouse experience;
• HAZWOPER preferred.
