The Opportunity

 

Clean Harbors Aragonite location (Dugway, Utah) is looking for a Facilities Operations Supervisor to join their safety conscious team! The Facility Operations Supervisor supports several different functions in the facility including plant operations, compliance and proper warehousing. This position will be working with internal customer service team to resolve issues with conforming waste.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner always;
  • Ensures Health and  Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes and acting in a safe manner at all time
  • Actively participates in the full recruitment cycle and oversees the training and orientation of all personnel
  • Manages employee relations, disciplinary issues and terminations of personnel with assistance from the appropriate HR representative and processes payroll
  • Ensures that supervised operations/ employees understand and have ownership for area specific permit required compliance standards
  • Works under the direction of the Facility General Manager
  • Reviews all  applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and adjusts as required;
  • Understands and drives Clean Compliance Standard
  • Acts as a Community Liaison
  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business
