The Opportunity 

Clean Harbors Delta, BC is looking for a Facility Technician to join their safety conscious team! The Material Handler is responsible for general labour duties, as well as drum pumping and drum handling activities.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Move drums around the facility using a forklift;
  • Perform drum pumping activities;
  • Housekeeping duties including but not limited to: tidying, sweeping and mopping;
  • Process material/waste;
  • Other duties as assigned by management. 

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors? 

  • Warehouse experience is an asset;
  • Previous experience in a labor intensive position is an asset;
  • 1+ year of Fork Lift experience is an asset;
  • Tank cleaning experience is an asset;
  • On-the-job training provided.
