The Opportunity 

Clean Harbors in Kent, Wa is seeking a Class B Hazmat Driver (Retail Technician) to join their safety conscious team! Class B Hazmat Drivers pick up inventory that is damaged or expired at retail locations throughout Utah, Idaho, Wyoming and Montana and transport the inventory to a Clean Harbors facility for disposal. Current CDL Class B with Hazmat is preferred, or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire. Candidates must be willing to travel overnight up to 50% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Segregating, packing and loading materials and waste products for safe transportation;
• Preparing DOT shipping documents;
• Conducting projects/jobs according to site specific Federal, State and local regulations and health and safety plans as well as Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Inc., policies and procedures.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

• CDL license B, or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire;
• Must be willing to obtain and maintain HAZMAT endorsement;
• Previous commercial driving and manual labor experience preferred.
