The Opportunity
Safety-Kleen in Wichita, KS is looking for a Treatment Operator to join their safety conscious team!

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Offloading, processing, testing and discharging waste water in a chemical batch process.
  • Offloading vacuum trucks and tankers.
  • Adding chemicals to tanks to chemically treat waste water.
  • Testing waste water to ensure within acceptable criteria.
  • Discharge water to municipal sewer system.
  • Process residual solids with heavy equipment and cement. 

What does it take to work for Safety-Kleen? 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years environmental or chemical educational background or industry related experience.
  • Basic chemical understanding.
  • Forklift experience.
