Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Inc. seeks an Application Technical Lead to work at its office in Norwell, MA.
Perform technical design, implementation, and code review. Propose and evaluate software engineering design for in-house enterprise sales order/pricing/quoting software applications for Clean Harbors business users, considering performance, scalability, and maintainability. Work with other Application Technical Leads to collectively determine the technologies and tools used by the development team and general software architecture patterns. Ensure that effort estimates are appropriate and are based on realistic assumptions. Clarify business logic and resolve requirement uncertainties. Communicate issues that may affect release dates. take ownership of software applications, including upgrade plans to keep to current standards. Proactively monitor error logs to find and correct production issues. Work with business users and other stakeholders on requirements gathering, prioritization, and business process definition. Work with business users to create technical solutions to support business processes, including suggesting business process improvements to take advantage of software application development; apply object-oriented development techniques and design patterns. Apply knowledge of software architecture principles and patterns, such as SOA, OO, and MVC.
Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Engineering and three (3) years of experience in job offered or alternate occupation of Technical Lead, Developer, or Specialist.
Alternate combination of education and experience: Bachelor's degree in an accepted degree field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or alternate accepted occupation.
Experience must include three (3) years of experience in: Microsoft .Net technology stack (VB.net, C#.net, ASP.net, WCF, Silverlight); SQL/SQL Server; Software architecture principles and patterns (SOA, MVC, MVVM, WPF); and Scenario-driven, test-based development using Agile development.
