The Opportunity 

As a Senior Heavy Equipment Operator you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment including backhoes, bulldozers, loaders, and excavators within the facility. You will assure unit has daily maintenance duties performed and communicate any problems or issues with the unit immediately upon discovery. 

**This position requires 100% travel all of the US: 6 weeks in the field, 1 week off (paid time off)**

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Ability to operate the following: front end loader, excavator, bulldozer, track hoe, compactor, water truck, sweepers;
  • Ability to complete daily checklist as required for proper operation of the unit being operated.
  • Ability to submit all associated paperwork as required for waste tracking movements. 

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors? 

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Valid Driver License required;
  • Minimum 10 + years’ experience operating backhoe, bulldozer, loader and excavator required;
  • Heavy Equipment Operator Licensed required;
  • OSHA 40 hour training preferred;
  • Ability to travel 100% all over the US (Paid Travel).
