Responsibilities

The Industrial Services Branch Manager is responsible for overall profitable operation for a regional branch, providing various service offerings to the heavy industrial, chemical manufacturing, refining and power industries. Key Responsibilities: 

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Direct responsibility for an assigned service center which includes full P&L responsibility;
  • Plans and coordinates with sales, staff, purchasing, logistic, finance to ensure projects meet cost and customer expectations;
  • Manages labor to meet utilization objective and focuses on labor relations, OSHA, worker’s compensation regulations/laws and maintains accurate tracking of labor costs an materials, identifies and reduces waste (e.g. material, time, equipment, etc.);
  • Formulates, develops, implements and measures market strategies, penetration and business goals and objectives. Works with the Regional Finance Manager to achieve billed and unbilled revenue objectives. 

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 
  • Bachelors’ degree in Environmental Sciences or related disciplines preferred;
  • 10+ years of experience in environmental, industrial, chemical manufacturing, refineries or power industries;
  • Cost estimating and computer experience; 
  • Proficient in Windows based activities.
