Safety-Kleen in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Branch Manager to manage the successful execution and profitability for the overall operations of their assigned branch office. This includes the sales growth, retention of customers, customer satisfaction, profitability, operational controls, health and safety performance, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
- Provide overall leadership and direction while maintain a secure environment and a respectful, team-oriented workplace.
- Direct and optimize overall operations in the assigned geographic area.
- Ensure the communication of all required report information is provided to all pertinent departments.
- Review operational reports, customer concerns, and compliance and safety issues, and provide operational input.
- Monitor overall branch performance providing solutions to problems that repeatedly affect branch performance or could lead to future issues.
- Ensure staff are following safe work practices, and are completing job duties efficiently, providing adequate support.
- Conduct periodic field visits to inspect the equipment and working environment.
- Work closely with District Manager to monitor safety statistics, compliance and reporting procedures regarding accidents/incidents.
- Work with sales team to generate new business for the branch.
- Prepare business plan and monitor annual budget (market projections, refurbishments, capital expenditures and fleet additions, enforcement of cost controls and general efficiencies) to ensure financial targets and profit margins while monitoring of all repair and maintenance costs.
- Identify growth opportunities and / or margin enhancements.
- Weekly branch meetings and end of day check in meetings.
- Responsible for performance reviews of branch staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to understand budgets, analysis and profit and loss statements.
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office package.
- Interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to maintain effective professional relationships while leading/mentoring in a team atmosphere.
- Ability to manage confidential information.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Route sales and service leadership experience a plus but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required .
