Overview
Clean Harbors Yorktown Heights, NY facility is looking for a InSite Technician to join their safety conscious team! The InSite Technician works indoors at customer sites/locations; and is responsible for the performance of tasks associated with preparing, testing, packing, and inspecting all chemical wastes.

Responsibilities
•Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
•Loading, packaging and segregation of materials and waste products;
•Does quality control check and sorts bins
•Assisting the Lead Field Chemist with the execution of assigned lab pack projects.
•Ensure drum count is correct and that drum conditions are shippable in accordance to the policies and procedures of Clean Harbors.
Qualifications
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?
•Lab-pack experience is a plus.
•1+ years of related experience such as warehouse or materials handling experience
Qualifications for Internal Candidates
•High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
•Computer Skills with knowledge of Excel
•Ability to lift 50 lbs
•Valid DL & clean driving record
•Experience with handling hazardous materials is a plus but not required
•Strong customer service skills
•Local travel as business demands require.
•College degree in chemistry, biology or other natural science preferred but not required
•Lab-pack experience is a plus.
