Responsibilities

Clean Harbors – Foster City, CA is looking for an InSite Compliance Specialist to join their safety conscious team! This person would be responsible for ensuring Health and Safety is being followed and ensuring that California waste regulations Title 22 are met and are in accordance with Clean Harbors company policies and procedures at our client location in Foster City, CA.

 

This is NOT a lab-based position

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Review and check incoming manifests and LDR’s and manages OFFC’s.
  • Assist the Compliance Manager with the preparation of reports and conducts on-site inspections.
  • Notify Compliance Manager of incidents/accidents; Archiving old files as directed by the Compliance Manager.
  • Conduct tours of the facility, as directed by the Compliance Manager.
  • Maintain weekly inspections, correct and report any discrepancies to the Program Manager.
  • Create and maintain facility training spreadsheet and field training documents.
  • Assist with RCRA/DOT and OSHA training modules, as requested by the Compliance Manager.
  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.

Qualifications

  What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required;
  • Hazardous waste experience a plus;
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean Motor Vehicle Record.
